Seema Haider’s ex-husband, Ghulam Haider, accused her, along with Sachin Meena and his father Netrapal, of cheating and other offences.

Former Pakistani national Seema Haider’s ex-husband, Ghulam Haider, lodged a complaint in the Jewar court via an Indian attorney. He alleges that Seema, along with her partner Sachin Meena and his father Netrapal, engaged in cheating, inciting religious discord, conspiracy, and tampering with evidence, among other accusations.
The court accepted the complaint and instructed the Jewar police to respond by April 18th.
Seema crossed into India through the Nepal border last May to be with Meena, a resident of Rabupura in Gautam Buddha Nagar, whom she met while playing PUBG.
Upon discovery of the situation, Greater Noida police arrested Seema, Sachin, and Netrapal, and they were briefly jailed. However, they were subsequently granted bail by the court, and Sachin and Seema later tied the knot.
Momin Malik, a lawyer from Panipat, filed a complaint on behalf of Ghulam Haider in the Jewar court under CrPC 156(3). They seek the registration of an FIR against Seema, Sachin, Netrapal, and three others who remain unidentified. The charges include various sections of the IPC such as 153-A, 195, 420, 467, and 120-B, along with Section 67 of the IT Act (punishment for transmitting obscene material in electronic form) and Section 11-A of The Foreigners Act, 1946.
Malik stated that the court issued a notice to the police on Thursday to respond to the complaint. He alleges that Seema obtained bail through deception and provided false information to the court.
It’s important to note that Ghulam Haider and Seema didn’t complete a formal divorce process.
However, Seema’s lawyer AP Singh argued that Ghulam Haider isn’t eligible to file a case in an Indian court under section 83 of the CPC. This section restricts the right to sue in an Indian court if the person is a resident of a country that is at war with India.
Seema Haider gained attention in July 2023 when she found living with Sachin Meena in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. She claimed she fell in love with him while playing PUBG and moved from Saudi Arabia, leaving her previous husband. Haider told that she converted to Hinduism and didn’t want to go back to Pakistan. She mentioned her children also embraced Hinduism. Seema reached out to President Droupadi Murmu, asking for Indian citizenship due to ongoing talks about her deportation.
