New Delhi: On Tuesday (Sept 17, 2024): Diljit Dosanjh’s much-anticipated “Dil-Luminati” concert, is scheduled to take place in New Delhi on October 26, 2024.

A Delhi-based law student issued a legal notice alleging issues with the ticket sales process, raising concerns about the transparency and fairness of the distribution system.

The student, who has expressed frustration over the inability to purchase tickets despite numerous attempts, has brought the matter to the attention of various stakeholders involved in the event.

The legal notice targets not only Diljit Dosanjh but also the event organizer, Saregama Private Limited, the official ticketing partner Zomato, and HDFC Bank, which is accused of breaching consumer trust by not honoring exclusive access promised to cardholders.

The complainant alleges that:

  1. Ticket Availability: Despite numerous efforts, tickets remained unavailable, suggesting a potential issue with the allocation or sale process.
  2. Exclusive Access: HDFC Bank cardholders were promised exclusive access to tickets, but this commitment appears to have been undermined or inadequately fulfilled.
  3. Consumer Trust: The event’s management and partners might have violated consumer trust by failing to deliver on their advertised promises, potentially leading to grievances among fans and cardholders.
