A Delhi court sentenced a man to life imprisonment for multiple instances of rape and subsequent pregnancy of his minor daughter.
A Father who regularly raped his daughter and became pregnant as a result was given a life sentence by a Delhi court.
Due to the victim being the defendant’s daughter and the particularly heinous nature of the murder, the court opted to sentence the accused to life imprisonment. Furthermore, it was determined by the court that the defendant had been sending letters to his daughter as a form of emotional manipulation.
The defendant emphasized that he was the primary provider for the family, stating that he was intoxicated and unable to distinguish between his wife and daughter. Additionally, the defendant’s wife appealed to the court for mercy.
