Patna, Bihar: Today (8th June): Justice Arvind Singh Chandel took the oath as a judge of the Patna High Court. The oath of office was administered by Bihar Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar during a formal ceremony held at Raj Bhavan in Patna, which was attended by several dignitaries.

Born on September 1, 1963, in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Justice Arvind Singh Chandel has an impressive academic background. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University in Raipur and went on to earn his LLB degree from Guru Ghasidas University in Bilaspur.
Judicial Career
Justice Chandel began his judicial career as a civil judge class II at the Civil Court in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, on August 26, 1987. His career trajectory includes various significant positions in the subordinate judiciary across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Throughout his career, Justice Chandel has held several key positions, demonstrating his versatility and dedication to the judicial system. He served as the presiding officer of the State Transport Appellate Tribunal in Raipur and as the District and Sessions Judge in Kawardha.
