The spokesperson added that this clip was sent to the Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, Punjab, SAS Nagar, for a detailed forensic examination.
The Forensic Report dated 09-01-2026 has clearly stated that “the word ‘Guru’ has not been uttered by Ms. Atishi in her audio as contained in the video clips being circulated on social media.”
The report has also confirmed that there was intentional editing of the clip to make it appear as if Ms. Atishi had spoken offensive words.
It further said that “there has been deliberate doctoring of the video to attribute words in the captions that were never spoken by Ms. Atishi.”
The findings show that the viral clip was manipulated only to create a misleading narrative, and the original audio did not contain the controversial word or remarks.
