Akshay Kumar finally spoke on Paresh Rawal’s unexpected exit from Hera Pheri 3, calling it a legal issue. He urged respect for the veteran actor and confirmed the matter will go to court.
Mumbai: Today, On May 27, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar finally opened up about the ongoing issue with his co-actor Paresh Rawal, who has recently walked out of their upcoming film Hera Pheri 3.
This sudden exit came after director Priyadarshan had earlier confirmed that Paresh Rawal would be a part of the project.
At the trailer launch event of Housefull 5, Akshay Kumar responded to the media and fans’ curiosity regarding the much-talked-about conflict and Paresh Rawal’s departure from Hera Pheri 3.
Despite the current tension between them, Akshay Kumar stood in support of Paresh Rawal and criticized the harsh comments being made against the veteran actor on social media.
Akshay Kumar at the trailer launch of Housefull 5 said,
“I wouldn’t appreciate that people will use words like foolish for someone this senior,”
Akshay Kumar shared that he shares a deep bond with Paresh Rawal, both professionally and personally, and emphasized that now was not the correct time or place to speak more on the matter. He indicated that the situation is serious and will be dealt with legally.
Akshay Kumar said,
“I have been working with him for the last 30 years. We are very good friends. He’s a great actor and I really admire him. Jo bhi kuch hai (Whatever the matter is), I don’t think this is the right place, I am not going to talk about it, for whatever is going to happen, since it is a very serious matter. It’s a matter which is going to be handled by the court,”
The news of Paresh Rawal’s sudden exit from the third part of the popular Hera Pheri film series has taken both the Bollywood industry and fans by surprise.
Earlier this year, his involvement in the film had been confirmed, but recent developments suggest growing friction between the actor and the makers of the film, possibly involving legal action from Akshay Kumar.
There were also reports suggesting that Akshay Kumar has taken legal steps and filed a case against Paresh Rawal for his abrupt exit.

In response to these reports, Paresh Rawal took to his official X handle (formerly Twitter) and shared an update. He stated that his lawyer had already sent a detailed response regarding the legal termination and his rightful decision to leave the film.
Paresh Rawal poste,
“My lawyer, Ameet Naik, has sent an appropriate response regarding my rightful termination and exit. Once they read my response, all issues will be laid to rest,”
To put an end to the speculation, especially regarding creative issues between him and the film’s director, Paresh Rawal made a public statement last week.
Addressing the matter on social media, he clearly denied any creative differences and expressed his respect and admiration for Priyadarshan.
“I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences,”
he wrote on X, adding,
“I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENTS WITH THE FILMMAKER. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan, the film’s director.”
Hera Pheri 3 is being directed by Priyadarshan, and the original star cast included Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal.
The film is one of the most awaited sequels in Bollywood, and the latest developments have only increased public interest.
As of now, both sides have made their positions clear through public and legal channels. The future of Hera Pheri 3 remains uncertain with Paresh Rawal’s exit, and the matter is expected to be addressed further in court.
