The Delhi High Court said, ‘Serve pizza and buttermilk to children, not engage in pet fights,’ as it quashed FIRs between neighbours. Justice Arun Monga directed them to serve Amul Chaach and mixed vegetable pizzas at Sanskar Ashram near GTB Hospital.

The Delhi High Court mandated that fighting neighbors provide pizzas and buttermilk to children and staff at a government-run childcare facility as a condition for dismissing police cases against each other.

Justice Arun Monga directed the parties to serve Amul Chaach Tetra Pack along with mixed vegetable pizzas at Sanskar Ashram, located near GTB Hospital.

The Court ordered,

“Each inmate and the attendants and other staff of the Ashram shall be served one Pizza along with Amul Chaach Tetra Pack. The Pizzas shall be baked by the complainant in the FIR No.220/2025 dated 05.05.2025 registered at P.S. Mansarovar Park and the same shall be treated as the community service to be jointly carried out by all the complainants and the accused by serving the same,”

This ruling came during a hearing of two petitions aimed at quashing cross-FIRs filed after a dispute over pet handling escalated into a physical confrontation. Both sides accused each other of assault, intimidation, and misconduct during the incident. However, they later informed the Court that the matter had been amicably resolved through a settlement.

Upon reviewing the case, the High Court recognized that the altercation was a private issue between neighbors and that continuing criminal proceedings would not be beneficial. During the hearing, it was noted that one of the complainants was engaged in the baking and selling of pizzas.

Consequently, the Court directed both parties to provide the pizzas and buttermilk to the children. Additionally, it instructed the investigating officer to ensure that the court’s orders were followed.

Petitioners Arvind Kumar and others were represented by advocates Naveen Kumar Thakur, Satendar, Ram Kumar, Uttam Kumar, and Sonu Kumar. Petitioners Pratham Vishnoi and others had the representation of advocates Deepak Kumar and Satendar Chauhan.

The State was represented by Additional Standing Counsel (Criminal) Rahul Tyagi, assisted by Sangeet Sibou, Priyansh Raj Singh Senger, and Aniket Kumar Singh.
