The Orissa High Court will remain closed for summer vacation, but arrangements have been made to hear urgent matters on specific dates. A dedicated bench will be available to handle critical cases during this period.

Cuttack: The Orissa High Court will be closed from May 19 to June 16 for its annual summer vacation.
However, vacation benches will convene on specific dates to address urgent matters, as stated in a notification released today.
The vacation benches will be operational on May 20, May 23, May 27, May 30, June 3, June 4, June 10, and June 13.
On May 20 and May 23, a two-judge bench consisting of Justice Sangam Kumar Sahoo and Justice MS Sahoo, along with a single-judge bench led by Justice BP Satpathy, will hear urgent cases.
On May 27, the two-judge bench of Justice KR Mahapatra and Justice MS Sahoo will be in session, along with single-judge benches presided over by Justice V Narasingh, Justice BP Satpathy, and Justice SK Mishra.
On May 30, the same two-judge bench of Justice KR Mahapatra and Justice MS Sahoo will meet again, with single-judge benches from Justice BP Satpathy, Justice SK Mishra, and Justice AC Sahu available to hear urgent matters.

A two-judge bench comprising Justice BP Satpathy and Justice MS Raman, along with their respective single-judge benches, will address cases, On June 3 and June 4.
Justice Aditya Kumar Mahapatra and Justice MS Raman will form a division bench,On June 10 and June 13, with both judges presiding individually as well.
Additionally, on June 13, Justice Gourisankar Satpathy will sit as a single-judge bench to hear urgent matters.
The High Court emphasized that these benches will function solely to address urgent cases during the vacation period.
