His remarks did not sit well with the Court, and the Bench, led by Justice Anuradha Shukla, took the matter seriously.

Madhya Pradesh: Today, 26th March, The Madhya Pradesh High Court was surprised by a lawyer’s remarks regarding the slow progress of a case. Advocate PC Paliwal, who was representing the appellants, expressed his frustration over the delay and made comments that the Court found contemptuous and disgraceful.
During the hearing, Advocate PC Paliwal had been arguing for some time but later became upset about the case dragging on.
He reportedly said, “This drama is going on in this court for the last 4 hours, I am sitting and watching.”
His remarks did not sit well with the Court, and the Bench, led by Justice Anuradha Shukla, took the matter seriously.
According to the Court’s order, Paliwal further commented, “High Court judges go to other places and say to appoint new judges but look at the condition of the judges, what happened in Delhi should also be seen.”
His words seemed to suggest that the judiciary was under pressure, which was considered inappropriate and disrespectful.
Expressing his dissatisfaction, Paliwal requested that the matter be transferred to a different Bench.
He reportedly said, “This pressure is increasing, and we are being harassed. I will go this evening and speak to Mohan Yadav. This case has come up 20 times, and it was finally listed today with great difficulty. I do not want to argue my case in this chaos; it should be sent to another bench.”
The Court was displeased with these remarks and found them inappropriate. Justice Anuradha Shukla remarked that the comments were disgraceful and contemptuous. As a result, the Court ordered that a certified copy of the order be sent to the Chief Justice for further action.
The Court’s order stated, “It is evident that he (lawyer) is making disgraceful and contemptuous remarks against this Court, therefore, it would be appropriate that certified copy of this order is placed before Hon’ble the Chief Justice for his kind perusal and needful. The case is adjourned.”
During the hearing, Government Advocate Satyapal Chadhar appeared for the State. However, the focus remained on Paliwal’s statements and the Court’s response to them.
